Darron John Fisher
A 48-year-old truckie has been convicted of three counts of raping a Wairarapa girl aged under 12, indecently assaulting the girl multiple times and numerous other charges. Darron John Fisher, of Upper Hutt, through his defence lawyer Ian Hard, pleaded guilty to 48 charges in Masterton District Court yesterday. He stood in the dock looking towards Judge Gerard Lynch during most of the court proceedings, not reacting to people in the public gallery who called out insults. Judge Gerard Lynch convicted Fisher of three charges of male rapes female under 12, seven of unlawful sexual connection with a female under 12, six of knowingly making or copying objectionable material, 15 of indecently assaulting a female under 12, and 17 charges of possession of objectionable material.
