Peter Douglas Tapine
Thursday, 24 December 2015 – 3:10pm:
During the evening of Tuesday, 15th December 2015 Peter TAPINE assaulted a man at an address in Masterton causing facial injuries. Police in the Wairarapa and the Hutt Valley have searched a number of addresses in Masterton and Lower Hutt looking for Tapine. A warrant has been issued for TAPINE’s arrest for offfences of injuring with intent to injure and threatening to kill. TAPINE is a patched member of the Nomad gang who has associations to the Wairarapa and Wellington areas. He can be described as violent and unpredictable and has been known to possess firearms in the past, so should not be approached by members of the public.
15th March 2004:
Following a three day trial in the Wellington District Court the accused was found guilty on one count of sexual violation, one count of unlawfully entering a building and two counts of indecent assault on a girl aged 12 years. He was found not guilty on one charge of assault with intent to commit sexual violation. He was sentenced to imprisonment for four years and six months.
